Well, here's what I've made so far, enjoy!

Okay, not the best project ever, but my first non-scarf item.

Basic cable, the picture doesn't do the color justice, it's so bright!

Nifty case

Unfinished punk rock backpack, with a swatch of the lining fabric

And just for cuteness, Daisy with a strawberry pillow  Grin

Those are great - good job! I'm impressed that your first non-scarf project was a bikini.

Most of all, I heart your rat Smiley

Great job! I love the cabled hat pattern! And you can sew!

Your cabled hat is perfect.  I love your design on the backpack.  And I commend your bravery with the bikini.  I'm thinking of doing one too - does it look good on?

Eee! Thanks for the compliments!
The bikini fits pretty well, though I don't wear it 'cause it has no elastic and it's cruddy yarn. If I made it again, I'd use a different technique for the strings; they're sharp and I didn't understand how to attach them.
I had to handsew the needle case, and after spending hours on all those pockets I finally had it finished! I left it on the coffee table for awhile and later found that someone *coughDasiyandJinxcough* made some sweet little chew marks on it. They're also big fans or bamboo knitting needles, those make great snacks. Those buggers are lucky they're cute Wink
