So many wonderful yarns this week.  I was planning on commenting on all of them.. but there are soo many. My favorites though are:  pmpknpunk's All Spun Up SW Merino/Alpaca and the one on the far left from natashafatale.  I also love kathleenalice purple silk/merino and Jazzturtles "its in the bag".

I got a lot of spinning / plying done this week.  I spun up some caramel colored mill ends to ply together with the the other two brown mill ends that I spun into singles last week. It made up 1 huge skein with 60 yards and one smaller skein with 30 yards. It's a super bulky wt.  When I ran out of the caramel colored single, I plied together the chocolate and cream colored ones. This made a heavy worsted wt. yarn with approx 24 yards. Then when I ran out of the cream, I plied together the remaining chocolate. This one is worsted wt. with 50 yards.

"Surprise" Thick n thin 103 yards. Spun from a surprise Artclub batt.  I plied this one with gold thread.

Core spun Scrap Yarn:  Everything I spun last year. I used dog brushes (I don't yet have carders) and made rolags.   It's about 1 oz and has 29 yards.

Still on the bobbin.. I'm spinning some of the rovings that I dyed last week.  This one I'm calling "Valentine"  There is almost 6 oz to spin of this one.  I'll be spinning the rest of this when I'm done posting this post.

OMG Jealous! No Fiber Friday for me this week. I'm waiting on some silk to be shipped and then I can join in next week.
Tequila Sunrise made me really thirsty for Happy Hour, and that Green Angelina made my heart melt, thats one of my fav colors.
All of your fiber is so gorgeous! Happy Fiber Friday everyone.  Grin

I haven't been on Craftster at all since about November or mid-December, I've been on this crazy deadline for my job, but that's all done and I'm back to doing some spinning.  I've been spinning up 8oz of a 50/50 Rambouillet/Llama that I got at a local fiber fair last spring to make a scarf for my mom.  It's a three ply, about DK weight and so snuggly soft.  I have a picture of the beginning of the scarf on Flickr, here.

I love all the yarns, they are amazing!

Purple Splash, Superwash wool, navajo plied, 294 yards total, hand dyed by me. Made for socks. Wish there was more yardage!

Plum, hand carded by Thenutmeg2000, made of the following: Superwash electric blue merino. black alpaca, brown bamboo, maroon BFL, wysteria (sp.) angelina, and one lavendery/maroon blended roving, 212 yards, 2 ply.

The color is more accurate in this picture, plus I have to show off the left over single, not even an arms length left! The spinning goddess must like me this week!

There are some truely beautiful yarns this week.  I think Lost and Illusion are standouts, though it would be nearly impossible to pick a favorite.

Hey Fiber People: I am very interested in personal swaps for painted/dyed roving or top. I can swap supplies or crafted items. Let's talk!

Here is my spinning this week.   Its a soy/wool blend.  180 yards.  I had a bit leftover so I tried Navajo plying.  This is what it ended up looking like.  But, I enjoyed the process.  I will be trying it again.  Anyone have any tips for a beginning Navajo plyer?
