I haven't seen those in years! Wink  I don't smoke or anything...but I think they are pretty cute.  Are they easy to hold...is the elephant hard to grip?

That's really cute! Seeing as my lighters last super-long (I use them only for incense and candles) I could use one of these to store it so it doesn't get lost. I can definately see the usefulness of this item... much like the odd-shaped lighters, make you look more interesting than a $.20 orange bic person.

I make all sorts of things in all sorts of mediums, I'll try and round up some of the lighters and take pictures , I give them to people as gifts. I know i have a gecko one and a strawberry one somewhere. They  seem to be fire proof, don't put the lighters in the oven though, that seems like a bad idea.

Really cute!  I have a few people I could make those for...  Since you obviously shouldn't put a lighter in the oven, how do you get the clay to hold the shape as it bakes?  I'd love to see pics of different designs you've done!

I second this. Those are adorable! Do you put aluminum foil inside or something so it doesn't collapse as it bakes? I've got some polyclay hanging around, and this seems perfect for it.
