i love this!! i will totally be joining.. just not till i've finished valentines day gifts, anniversary gifts and had my birthday! ( all of which occur in the next 3 weeks) haha! i will be keeping an eye on this thread tho! When i do begin i hink it'll be an awesome way to use p alot of different coloured yarns i have! cant wait!  Grin

Kayster i love yours even tho its neutral creamish colours.. i think it'll turn out to be a lovely afghan when finished!  Wink i plan to make an afghan for a wedding gift for this year.. and i'm gonna have to stick to creamish colours i think..  but i think it'll be nice cos it wil go with everything.

Here is my Progress....

I really like the simplicity of the colors and the way it is turning out.  I started with the one hexagon in the middle and I'm kind of making circles around it. (I don't know if you can tell from my picture.) Once I get to the width I desire I'll just add rows on the top and bottom.

I started mine today using scraps of Bernat Baby Co-ordinates.  I've got three hexes done so far:

OK, the more I think about it, the more I really want to make one of these in bright colors - in cotton. I may have to stop swapping, not eat as often and sell my car to finance the yarn - but hey, it would be worth it, wouldn't it?!

I really need to start making more things for my family, friends and myself. All I've been doing lately is sending my stuff to strangers I meet on the internet.... Grin Grin

Hehehe PlayswithNeedles. I'm going to start one too, but I think I'll use scrap yarn, I have so much stash I need to get rid of but it's way too pretty to just throw away.

Thanks!  The spirals are totally unintentional (I agree, though, they are neat!).  I'm using scraps of mostly the Bernat Baby Co-ordinates Sweet Stripes.  Basically it's just a variegated yarn, but only with two colours in long sections.

I got some more done and took a picture out in the sun!

Clearly, I need to learn how to take pictures better. lol

Watch out - swapping is addictive!! Better warn your family and friends they aren't getting any handmade items for awhile...... Grin
