I made this dress a little while ago but am just now getting around to posting pics. It is nothing too special but I liked the fabric and thought it would make a cute simple type dress.

Excuse my head being cut off. I just had my wisdom teeth taken out and my face is swollen.

Some details

Also, it is belted with a same color fabric strip, so you can't really see the belt. I could do a red belt too.

I was also thinking of adding pockets. What do you think?

OMG! We bought that fabric for an event at my work... I helped my boss pick it out! I now have a huge piece of it on my ironing board that i can't get the wax out of... he he he... maybe I'll make I dress too! Excellent job, btw!

I got the fabric at Hobby Lobby. However, I don't go there anymore because the one near my house has HORRIBLE customer service. I would go to another Hobby Lobby though but I don't know where the next closest one is. Anyway, I liked the fabric because it is stretchy.

I don't think you're giving yourself enough credit with the title of this posting Tongue

This is actually really cute.  I like your fabric choices, the cinched waist, and the ruffle at the bottom very much.  Good job!!

Oh, and I would say "no" to the pockets- I think you have enough detail as it is; you wouldn't want it to look too busy.  I really like this as it is!!

(And I also had my wisdom teeth out not too long ago- at the time I was being commissioned to make a bridesmaid's dress and I recently ran into the woman, who said it was nice to see me "not looking like a chipmunk".  Haha aww.)
