Do you mind if I share with you my creation.  I'm very proud of this dress.  Its an adaption of a McCalls pattern, where i elongated the bodice and added a velvet trim.

thanks so much.  Its kids age 6, but because I've elasticated the back of the waist and its a tie-up halterneck, it could grow with the child to probably 7 or even 8!!

This fabric is sandi henderson's garden party.  It really does remind me of spring.  I've no action shot I'm afraid as I've no models for it.  I've got two boys!! I do sometimes like to give myself a break and sew something pretty though.
