I bought this book ( http://www.amazon.com/Wild-Wonderful-Fleece-Animals-Full-Size/dp/1589233840/ref=pd_sim_b_1 ) and finally received it last night! My first project from it is Mr. Walrus! Mine doesn't look near as cute as the one in the book. I didn't have any fleece so I used a weird velvety fabric and some craft felt. But he was lots of fun to make. Cheesy The patterns and instructions were easy to fallow too. I only had one problem when I had to attach the muzzle part but that was mainly cause it was like 2 something in the morning and I was a tad tired, lol. Here he is! Cheesy

I took him out to play in the snow this morning. I think he had a good time. Cheesy

side view.

Body shot!

and just a little close up. Cheesy

I need to go to the craft store soon and get more stuffing. I used all I had left on him. Sad I'm excited to make the other animals! Cheesy

Thanks for looking! Comments and criticism are always welcome! Cheesy

I'm going to try this out Smiley I don't have a sewing machine and I really need one. I've been hand sewing all of my projects and they are a bit messy

I think he's cute. Good job. Nothing ever comes out like "the book". We are always our own worsted critic. Can't wait to see the next ones.  Wink

He's a pretty good size! I measured him and length wise from the front bottom part to the tip of his tail flippers is nearly 15 inches. Height from his head down is nearly 10 inches. And about 5 inches in width, I think, lol. They're large size patterns, like normal stuffed animals. Cheesy
Here's a picture of him with my kitty and my kitty is pretty large. Smiley

And, aww thanks! Cheesy Glad you like him!

Oh, I know! I'm hardly ever 100% happy about anything I make, I always have something I don't like about them, lol. I'm still not that great at sewing, consider myself a beginner and I'm a bit of a perfectionist plus I'm very impatient, (so I tend to rush through things. ) lol, all of that doesn't mix well sometimes. Thanks for your compliments! Cheesy
