Love it.  My mother used to tell me that story when I was young and I'm 70 this year. Thanks for sharing it.  I'd make a children's book and include a page with the words.

I'd make a quilted wall hanging.  Embellish the fabric with paints and embroidery, maybe some glitter and charms.  Hang it next to a framed version of the poem.  What a lovely baby shower gift that would make!
