I re-worked a couple of old plain cardigans by cutting the fronts straight, and adding fabric trim. I also cut off about 1/3 of the sleeve and trimmed that with fabric as well. I hadn't worn these 2 sweaters in forever, but now they're cute enough to wear again.

Sweet!  It's summer in Australia, but when I pull some winter gear out of the back of the cupboard in a few months I'll have to remember this reworking... it looks really well put together.

That's such a good idea! I'm always wearing cardigans over dresses, but I don't like to button them up because then I look like I'm just wearing a skirt. Your version is much more flattering than wearing a loose, unbuttoned cardigan.
