This composition is fantastic. What kind of wallcovering is that?

such a great idea, and totally solves the "what to do with this giant expanse of wall" issue! Smiley

Dorion: the walls are covered with fibreglass wallpaper and were then painted over. It's not ideal since the surface wasn't smooth to paint the mural on but because it's an old house and the plaster on the walls wasn't that even, it was the best choice.

I loved it so much I copied.  I'm giving you all the credit though when I show anyone!  yours is so much bigger and better.  I just free hand drew it on the wall and painted.

Kayster, that looks lovely. I'm quite impressed that you did that by hand!

I was lurking around in search of inspiration for three panels I want to paint - they're hung above my bed, right above a couple of shelves of books. I had something similar in mind but I couldn't decide which way to go - just swirls, silhouettes, or what...  this is perfect inspiration! I love how flowing and un-complicated it looks. I have a few ideas I want to apply to, so it surely won't come up as a total copy... but thanks for the inspiration! (I'll keep my fingers crossed as I have no projector, I'll have to free hand everything and I'm a tad rusty!)

so  beautiful!  I don't know if I trust myself enough to do it though.  I have a green wall just waiting to be prettied up though!

Sort of retro/moderne/zen --  love the color, the lines and the light.
