Beautiful package Amymisha and HippieKender!!!

Today I was totally spoiled by RueRue!!

First off was this sweet handmade note:

Love the origami crane!!

RueRue embroidered this awesome penguin for Lana!!  I really love this!!  It's in the laundry ATM because Lana is wearing it to school tomorrow!  I'll be sure to snap an action shot then!

The whole shirt:

Closeup of the penguin.  Isn't he the cutest!!

RueRue also said that she would make me a few handcarved stamps and ended up surprising me with a ton of them (3 hedgies, birdie, cupcake, and a baby poppet from my drawing!!), lots of beautiful hair ribbons, and buttons!!  The stamps are really professionally done and with such attention to detail.  Not only is the carving done well, but the block of wood has rounded edges...so much nicer on the hand.

Lana really loved the stamps.  She kept saying how pretty they were.  She also loved the hair ribbons as did I.  These are the first that she's had and she really loves them and insisted on wearing one right away.  Smiley  I really can't get over how creative RueRue is.  She's mastered so many different crafts!!

You can also see Lana hard at work making a frame for a picture with RueRue's wonderful stamps!!

And besides all this wonderfulness RueRue communicated with me alot and we had a nice time getting to know each other a bit.

Thank you sooo much for such an amazing package RueRue. We love it all!!
And thank you to Racky for organizing this fantastic swap!!

Wow, RueRue, that's a great package!

I love all those handcarved stamps! What medium did you carve? I have used the Staedtler carving blocks, but I find those disintegrate over time. I need to find something that holds up a bit better. Tongue

The penguin shirt is adorable, too. You scored, atsuko!

I did totally score!   Grin  It was too cold for Lana to wear her tee today.   I was going to add it over a long sleeved tee, but today it was too cold and she needed 2 long sleeved shirts and 3 would have been too many.  Anyhow I'm sure that she'll be wearing it when I get home.

Racky, good question!  I'd like to know about the medium too.  And what brand of tools to use.  Your stamps are sooo awesome RueRue that now I wanna learn.  Thanks again!!!
