I'm going to love posting this next card, because I know some of you coughphizzycough will freak out.  Cheesy

Who can think of Valentine's Day without thinking of clowns? Not me, nor, it appears, calluna! Here's the clowny card of love she sent me:

Heh heh, gotta love it. Thanks, calluna!

I received from calluna, too! I love the stitching in the heart.

I received from Calluna, and it is awesome. My picture is not the most fab, so if she has another one, a more clear one would be cool (my camera is not that swell).

The gentleman on the right is writing the poem as follows:

Literary Love

I broke my heart because of you, my dear;
I wept full many an unmanly tear-
But as in agony I lie awake
I thought, "What lovely poems this will make!"
-Harry Kemp

How perfectly angsty, love it! Smiley

She also sent me extra paper bits, which is fab, because I don't have much of this kinda stuff as I am new to paper-y crafting (esp. love the kittys, how cute!).

And likewise, here is a great card from boogirl1984!

I seriously love this card, everything about it.

I also received this gorgeous card from amaryllisroze. Stunningly beautiful.

And I failed to show the card that Smmarrt sent along with the ATC and papers:

This is perfect, and I think it's going up on my wall or my door, because it sums everything up for me so well!  Grin But then again, so do the cards I'm receiving...I have to decide (quickly!) where I want to display them; I will probably take them to work so they can be admired by my crafty supervisor and all others who pass through. Since one of my housemates had his world shattered by a recent breakup, I'm a little hesitant to post love-related things in the house.

Here's a scan of the card I sent zatanna:

The full photo was originally Fred Astaire dancing in a jail cell, but I kinda botched it and thus this arrangement was borne.

I'm living/working in Yosemite Nat'l Park til further notice! Blogging about it here. No swapping for me, and minimal crafting time, for the coming months. Graduated from library school! That sums things up for now.

I'm glad all my cards have been received and that everyone seems to like them! This week was a rough one for me but coming home to an ATC a day helped a lot.  Here they all are:

Love/Creativity from calluna.  The quote reads:  "I can always be distracted by love, but eventually I get horny for my creativity."  Gilda Radner  Haha, so good!  And the use of paint and paper is really nice, thanks!

Sending all my Love from neverseenblue.  So pretty, i just love the use of a book page and the delicate cut-out, thank you!

Words from the heart by amaryllisroze.  More book pages, this time a dictionary, love it!  And it's so shiny, I keep playing with it in the light.  I like the arm appearing out of nowhere, too, thanks!

Now two from buttercup592007, since nervous about it being a first swap.  No need, they are great!
Bleeding - I love the colors and it's got some shine too that adds a nice touch.

The Fight with Love - Lots of sparkle, which I love, and the chain at the top is a great idea.  Thank you!

Thanks to all my partners, really enjoyed this swap!
