I'm glad to see the ATCs are starting to arrive.  The blue background is strips of painters masking tape that I found at the dollar store.

I found the labels on eBay last year. It was hard to find original printed labels. I think I paid about $6 for 50 of them. I was lucky I think. I didn't have a choice of titles, but I think I'll find uses for most of them. Also some people sell blank ones that you can print up yourself.

twiz, i love your card! the plaid is so bright and cheerful, and i love the string wrapped around it! i'm totally going to copy that....

smmarrt, both of your cards made me giggle! i love the kinda grumpy looking old men, but i really love the couple! their thought bubbles are fabulous, and so if the photo you used. i want that woman's hat!

corduroy cat, very cute! i love the balloons, and the quirky face on the girl's body! where do you find your images? i love the vintagey looking body!

sajona, gorgeous as usual! why didn't i put myself in a group with you.... so pretty! are those sequins? they're a great touch of the deeper pink!

panthermoon, i love it! so gorgeous, and i adore the colour scheme! super jealous of the juke box labels too, i hope you scanned them before you started using them! (i'm a compulsive scanner! )   

boogirl, super cute! i love all the textures of the handmade paper, and the buttons are so cute! you're better at lining them up than i would be.


i received a gorgeous thank you atc from corduroy cat today, it was so sweet of her to send it to me!


isn't it great?! i love the girl on the right, with the gold wings! she looks like she's out of a 50s home ec book! all the little details are great, i love how she used the clear decals.

It's stitched and then placed on paper. It's really cool...I don't know if it's acceptable ATC practice, but I may use it as a bookmark because it's really quite cool to look it!

panthermoon, i was all set to ask where you'd gotten curved dresden, and then i realized that it looks like it's actually part of a paper doily. ohmygod, what a smart idea! i love the little rhinestones, and of course, the couple!

twiz, i love your hearts! i keep thinking i should do some cross stitch atcs, but i never think of the right thing to cross stitch, you always seem to!

Thanks  I never thought to scan them. Although I gave away some to a friend, these are the only ones I've used personally so far. It's a good idea ... I'll scan the rest of them soon.

It's not exactly a paper doily, it's like white paper lace edging. A friend gave it to me, I don't know where she got it. I had about 2 yards of it. It's actually wider than on this card. You'll see more of it on some of the other cards. I used chalk on this one.

I scanned all the ATCs, but I forgot to write down which set I sent to which group. So it's fun to see them arriving because I couldn't remember who got what. [/color]
