My new eye-boggling dressy shirt! I picked the pattern up in a car boot sale for 1, and found the fabric (which i previously thought I could only get in the US or on the net) in a shop in brighton for 10. I'm super pleased with how this shirt came out, especially as its only the third item of clothing ive made from scratch. It has fun bell sleeves, a sailor-like tie at the front and tight cuffs with four little black buttons. Let me know what you lot think, I love getting opinions! Cheesy

Excuse the battered mannequin... i used it in my art department at college to take photos for my university portfolio...

Lovely!  The fabric suits the pattern perfectly!  I would wear that in a heartbeat.  In fact, if it is my size, you should mail it to me...  Wink

Well done you!

Out of curiosity, what's the pattern number you used?

Sadly it's a vintage pattern.. Sad However, if you're looking for a similar sleeve i'd recommend this pattern that i found - http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=5200032

Ohhh... clever! Cheesy sadly the pattern is currently lost somewhere in my house Smiley
But i reckon any bell-sleeved pattern combined with a sailor collar would work the same
