Dangly Stick Stars

For the latest prompt at The Art Is Found: http://theartisfound.blogspot.com/, we had to make mobiles (lately, it seems like all the creating I've been able to do is for my design teams, but better than none!)....
I've been wanting to make these stick stars that I saw on A Foot Hill Home Companion: http://foothillhomecompanion.blogspot.com/2007/11/star-light-star-bright.html for awhile now so I whipped these up:

It was just a lot of tying and knotting. I loved adding in the bits of thread and beads here and there.
I really love how they turned out.... I'm excited to properly hang them after my husband and I get our own place!

I absolutely adore this! I love the organic combination of natural objects and small trinkets and dabs of color. This has inspired me to do some more art with all those twigs I've been collecting. Kudos!

just some hemp twine I had hanging out in my stash. I believe I picked it up from hobby lobby though. I purposely knotted it pretty randomly just because I liked the look of it.

ohhh I love this! Now I know what to do with all the sticks that have shown up in my yard from the tree falling, and the harsh winter! Simply beautiful

I love these!  I must make them! My living room is wood and stars already they would look perfect!  what a neat idea.

I love these, they look so wonderful!

I have some bought willow ones dotted about the house, but I've wanted to make some of my own from twigs I've collected for ages and never got round to it! I'm adding it to my to-do list for today, thank you for reminding me!
