East Bay - Tri Valley- ?

Hey Everybody.
I'm wondering if there are any Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore, San Ramon or Danville craftsters that want to meet up?
I'm in Dublin myself and I know of a knitting/ spinning group that meets in San Ramon. I also know about the groups in Brentwood and Walnut Creek, but frankly those are just too far out for me and maybe you, too? So, I propose that anyone who's into any kind of craft needlework, beading, crochet, knitting or whatever get together and form our own tri valley based creative community.

but, i don't drive on the freeway, and rely mostly on public transit to get places outside of fremont.

Sounds like fun-I'm in Pleasanton and also just started going to a knitting/spinning (through Ravelry) group that meets in the San Ramon Borders bookstore.

In P-town? Cool, I grew up there. I actually stopped going to the San Ramon group because I really didn't have anything in common with the other members and it was awkward. I guess being a crocheting, childless vegan in my twenties makes me a weirdo...hehheh.

I live in Dublin and I crochet! I just got a drop spindle too so I'm trying to learn how to spin on my own. 
I would LOVE to have a group to meet up with. I don't have any friends here (just moved with my boyfriend from Seattle about a month ago) and I'm sick of sitting around in the house all day.
