Hi everyone-

My brother was hit by a car last week and suffered two broken ankles, broken thumb on his right-hand (he's right-handed), much road rash and some stitches.  He is VERY, VERY lucky; he has no internal damage and no brain injury except for a concussion.

He is far away and doesn't want visitors yet.    He's tall 6'5", his wife is 5'6" and is sooooo devoted!  I've sent him a couple of toys and books, but would love to make something for both of them.

Any ideas for a person who does not crochet or knit?

Thanks everyone!

what about soup jars? i've seen jars with all of the ingredients needed for soup, layered together, so it looks pretty.
that would be an quick & easy thing for them to make for dinner?
or maybe hot cocoa mixes with a couple of mugs, which you can decorate?

i hope he has a speedy recovery!  Smiley

Thanks so much - those are great ideas!  He does like my cooking and who wouldn't want to have an easy dinner to prepare for your laid-up hubby?
