i so wanted to join this swap but couldn't due to time constraints
everything looks fab though
Songs4Drowning, did you alter Nanny's recipe for the frog pills at all? because whenever i've made them (and i have done many times) the texture isn't right, or the colour or flavour so i end up fudging the recipe, they always come out nice, but yours look far better
(though i've done other recipes that have come out perfect, when my brother and i didn't use the wrong ingredients, though i won a cookery competition with my sticky toffee rat on a stick)

Another great package! I love the vampire bookmark, he's quite cuddly for someone who wants to kill you.

I followed the recipe for everything except for the powdered sugar. I pretty much just kept adding and stirring until the "dough" no longer stuck to my fingers. I can't measure in grams, and I wasn't sure if it meant by weight or volume anyway, so I just winged it and was pretty happy with how it turned out.

I bet that hedgehog can never be buggered at all! I'm really in love with your cross-stitch. I'm not sure how Pratchett meant for Nanny to have pronounced it, but I always read it as "Tempers F-Ugg-It" Sounds an awful lot like "Tempers F*ck It". Tongue It think otherwise he would have spelled it correctly in her dialogue. Witches Abroad is such a great book. Now I want to reread it. Cheesy

I received from piaochong... a discworld leather bracelet, Luggage (sadly didn't make it intact, but I'm going to have my son work on putting it back together, because it's SO cute), and a beautiful silk (?) scarf.
(I'm SO surprised the framed cross stitch I sent her arrived in one piece...I can't believe the glass didn't break/crack!)
Thanks much, I love the package!

That bracelet is fantastic, and please post a picture of the luggage when it's recrafted (hey, shouldn't it be indestructable?). You lucky bitch, with two swap packages in one day! We are still waiting for the British post to figure out how to deal with this mysterious white stuff that maliciously attacked them from the sky, and the German post obviously is still stunned about what to do with these brown brick thingies that people hand them over from a distant island full of weird folks Smiley Smiley

I think the blame firmly lies with Britain...we haven't received any post since last Thursday. It's not even snowing anymore. Christ knows what they're doing with outgoing packages, probably burning them for fuel.

That bracelets really funky and quite subtle too. And I think I can make out the luggage in the top left, he is cute even delegged. Is he polymer clay? I'm very impressed if he is.

the leather bracelet is what broke my coffee table. I had to hammer the letters in, and said coffee table didn't like that!
