My grandfather just moved out of his home, and had hundreds of antique books that he was giving to good will.  I went over and snatched up a huge tote full of reader's digest condensed books. They have beautiful covers in different colors, some even have the original jackets.  I can't possibly use all of them, so if you live in the Austin area and are willing to drive up to my place in Round Rock, I'd be happy to share these books with you.  I hate to see them go to waste with so many crafting possibilities.  Send me a private message if you are interested. I am always in need of vintage books for my hollow book safes.  I know this was a little while ago, but if you still have any let me know!  I will gladly drive to Round Rock for pretty vintage books.
