I felted this up a while ago, but haven't been fortunate enough to take any good pictures until recently. It's merino, nuno felted into silk.
I'm really pleased how the tree turned out, and how well it drapes.

It is very lovely.  Did you use a template for the tree or did you draw it freehand?

Lovely wrap! Did you put fibers on both sides of the silk, or just one side?

Thanks guys.  Smiley
I initially was hoping to use this for my wedding but decided on a shorter white felted stole.

Did you use a template for the tree or did you draw it freehand?

I laid down the fibre freehand, and moved it around till I was happy with it.
Trees shapes are quite organic so they're good to do like that

Did you put fibers on both sides of the silk, or just one side?

Just on one side, with the exception of the edge. That's on both sides.=

So the white is all silk and the brown is merino correct? I'm not familiar with how nuno felting is done.
