Hey everyone!
So I was super-pumped for Inauguration Day, because I loove Obama ever so much. So even though i was watching it on TV all day, I managed to turn it off for an hour to make an Obama cake! It turned out very delicious, too! Although I realize the frosting doesn't really look like him. But alas, here it is:

It's chocolate cake with vanilla frosting. (my brother made me use vanilla because he hates chocolate frosting. Men. ugh.)

This isn't a very good photo, but when you cut it open there were red, white, and blue stripes in the middle. It was supposed to look patriotic but it ended up looking more like the french flag. Viva la France!

Have a happy day/night!
Hannah

I love the use of stripy icing in the middle, genius idea!

The coloured frosting is good, but the background seems to be kind of speckly - is that vanilla?

the speckles are just crumbs from the cake that got into the frosting.  Cheesy
