I got my package sat, and it was super exciting!

I recieved 3 nifty re-usuable shopping bags, 4 beautiful teacup candles that made the whole package smell good, cute clothespin magnets that match my kitchen, an adorable cherry apron, and postcards which I didn't get at first...

They have my screen name!
Lizzle did a super speedy awesome job.

Love is patient, Love is kind, It does not envy; it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude it is not self-seeking it is not easily angered it keeps no record of wrongs. love does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth It always protects always trusts, always hopes, always perserveres

I'm glad you like everything!
(And I'll be honest, I didn't get the postcards at first either...I was just thinking that the blue in the road sign one went well with the red magnets and then all of a sudden it dawned on me and I thought, "I have to send these!")

Yay! Our first gallery posting! I'm curious about the apron: is it a full apron or a half? The fabric is so cute. Smiley

I love reusable shopping bags! The fabric is great on those and the aprons. And the teacup candles & magnets are great!!

Woo hoo!

My awesomeness from yardenxanthe:

A set of 4 placemats, a set of 4 crazy quilted coasters, 3 cupcake felted picture frames, ruffled rubber gloves with pouch, and the most awesomeness ever crocheted fabric rug. I love it so very much and have always wanted one. Thank you so much for my lovely gifts Yardenxanthe. I love them all.

I hope yardenxanthe likes what I made her just as much. And thank you Deanna for hosting such a wonderful swap.

Yay! I'm glad you like what I made you! I had a lot of fun with the pink - I rarely craft with pink! I loved the vintage floral sheet, though! I kind of felt bad tearing it up into strips to use for the rag rug, but I'm so glad you liked the rug, so it makes it worth it!

The apron isn't full-length.  I made it based (sort of) one one of those tutorials for making an apron out of a tea towel, except I didn't have a tea towel and did have cool cherry fabric, so I modified stuff a little.

Anyway, I snapped a couple of pictures before I sent.  Maybe they'll give you a better idea of what it looks like:

You can't see it really well in either picture, but the apron is two layers.  The bottom one goes to around knee length (a little higher) and then the top one is half as long and is two pockets.  You can tie the waist tie in the front under the top layer but above the bottom one so that the tie is completely hidden...if that makes any sense.  If not, I can look for the tutorial I based it on.

P.S. Those dish gloves are the jam!

I didn't join this swap, but just want to pop in and say, OMG, I love the cupcake photo frames! They are unbelievably adorable. I'm now extremely inspired to do something similar with pie. Grin
