For this swap you will alter  inside and out the whole tin an Altoids's rectangular tin ( Altoids size ONLY for this swap) you will fill it with tiny things, one extra item that is not in the tin and send to your partner TINS MUST be in the mail no later then  March 15 ,2009

For this swap you will alter 1 altoids size tin, Fill it with goodies ABOUT THE PERSON OF YOUR PARTNERS CHOICE!!! You will only craft one of the people from your partners list...You will also  send 1 EXTRA item with your tin if you wish for your partner.....IT MUST ALSO BE ABOUT THE PERSON YOUR PARTNER WANTS ON THE TIN....

for example: I want a Patrick Swayze tin, you could fill it with little magnets and items with his image from movies or whatever, you could send as an extra a pillow case that you print lets say a pic of him from Dirty Dancing with Nobody puts baby in a corner OR pic form ghost with "It's amazing, Molly. The love inside, you take it with you"  .....Hint Hint Hint LOL....Really this is going to be fun...


there are so many small items you can make and fill a tin with...Magnets, earrings, necklaces, tiles, bracelets, pics, books,bookmarks, ohhh the sky is the limit we have a long craft time so make it super fun for your partner...

I really want to join this swap but...I don't know what an altoids tin is. I've never seen them in stores around here(I live in Calgary). Is there something else I can use instead, or does it absolutely have to be an altoids tin?

They have them in canada but some are under different names..some tins are called Marks and Spencers Curiously strong mints.....they are small tins
They're approx.  9.5 cm x 6 cm x 2 cm/  or

3.75 in x 2.25 in x 0.75 in

Well, yes BUT if you have a person who your partner can google a load of info or at least several things of then you can list one...You have to opp to list 3...

I only have 1...My Patrick Swayze   I handed my partner on a silver platter what I would love ROTFL....

wow! this sounds like a great idea! one thing before i sign up though,
im in the UK. Is an altoids tin just any metal tin that is the size that you gave?
Sorry, I know someone already asked this question, but I have never seen them  before, but Ive googled it and had a look, but wasnt sure if I had to get a particular brand, or just any.
