Again have to give total credit to all of the craftster goddess here that totally came up with idea first. I am not sure who the first one to do this was but I did get my inspiration from all of those crayon aprons that came before mine.
Decided that these were going to be the bulk of the Christmas gifts for the myriad of nephews and nieces that I have on my list this year but wanted them to be really durable and be used for more than just coloring. Soooooooo
I found a stack of old kids jeans and overalls at the thrift shop for a quarter each and did these. Some of them have an extra big pocket behind the crayons to hold a pad of paper or other art treasures.
Then when they want to go out and play in the yard or where ever else little ones want to go and play they can turn the apron around and have extra pockets to stick, bugs, frogs, rocks what ever treasures they find.
For any of you that have not cranked some of these out yet, they are soooo easy to make and super quick too.

Thanks once again to the muses that came before me, you all helped to make the gift giving season this year and fun and easy one.

Much Peace,
Tero

I haven't seen those before, great idea!  I especially love the last one with the fairies and mushrooms.  What a fun way to use old jeans.
