My man's pretty new to the army, it'll be a while before he has any old uniforms... but I'll definitely do this at some point! Cheesy

If you live near a post you can find an army surplus store and pick up an old uniform (be sure to wash it before you use it...).  Even the new ACU uniforms can be found for under $15.  Good luck!!

I also found this website, if you don't leave near a post, to order a used uniform: http://www.military-mall.com/  It's somewhere under the uniforms...$19.95 for a set...hope you can get one.  Ebay too!

I just ordered some fabric from ebay it was pretty devent price with the shipping it came to about $3 a yard, and I can get 2 purses from a yard. I have since had several reguests for bags from other wives here on post and now I am in the business of selling bags, lol. I just stole mt hubby's patches but now have to go to the cothing and sales to order more. I also made a messenger bag, but not out of acu but I am planning on attempting that soon.
Thanks everyone! Smiley
