I made a lot of these for Christmas just past, they were the ideal pressie for the menfolk and vinophiles amongst my family and friends.

The totes are quite quick to make, they took on average an hour to make. I started off with a Joann "yoyo" bottle tote tutorial and then amended it to get rid of the yoyo outside. They are quite strong and everyone loved receiving them (with or without the bottle of wine).

So without further ado...

The train one was for my dad (who loves model trains), and the leaf one was for an English uncle

This one was for my Australian uncle, it was the first time I found Amy Butler fabric in London.

I also made one for my neighbours and a friend but those images seem to have gone missing. Roll Eyes  I'll upload them if I ever find them.

I hope you like these totes, any comments or feedback is most welcome.
Happy viewing, happy crafting and happy new year

These are very clever. My co-worker & her husband make their own wine, these would be great for them - I may make 1 or 2 to see how they like it.

Thank you so much, little me. I strongly recommend you giving them a go, I'm sure your co-worker will love them!

Thank you so much Irockyou and Juaniece. Cheesy

As I use generally use a cotton fabric, I always strenthen it with a medium weight iron-on interfacing. I find the medium weight is normally enough to make it stand without being solid. Wink

On these totes, I also double-stitched the top so the handle would not "pull" the stitches so much when you carried the bottle.
