Hi all!

I've been working with clay for some time.. This guy is my favorite...

He's roughly 18" tall, hand built terra cotta, with an iron oxide and wax finish. He was my first face pot... and continues to be my favorite.

This is such an amazing piece! It gives off a very organic vibe, both as a result of the material and the expression/distortion I think. He (she?) looks sleepy, or like they're remembering something fondly Smiley

I like it... it's simple and organic, I agree.  But it's also engaging... his expression almost looks annoyed - like he's in a crowded place, being squished.  lol  Very cool!   Smiley

Thanks for the great comments!

His mood seems to change with where he's placed and how much natural light he gets (or doesn't get).

My cats have recently decided he's fun to jump into and hang out.
