Thanks again!  I can't claim to be a color genius.  I tried to match my fabric color choices to the ones on the sample quilt in the pattern.

I appreciate your vote of confidence in me, but I'm not so sure! I started piecing together a pattern me and my sister worked out... it's just simple blocks (my feeble brain can't handle the more complex math!), but I'm not sure how well it's going to turn out! i'll keep at it though and many moons from now if(when) i finish it, I'll post it!

It seems that different people have an idea of what I am, and what I should be. And then there's me.

Wow, this is really amazing.  I can't believe you hand quilted the whole thing!  It would NEVER leave my couch  Cheesy

Tristan- I recommend starting out with a pattern so all the measurements are given and you won't have to do all the math.  Cutting with a rotary cutter, mat and a clear ruler help tremendously with accuracy.  You have to add funny fractions if your drafted pattern has triangles.   Wink

Wow! It looks wildly complicated as a whole, but up close it looks a lot more manageable, even with the gradations of color.

What a wonderful gift!

This is beautiful. I loved the colors. I wish I could make something like that one day... or maybe someone will do it for me!

Congrats!
