It's taken me a little over a year from putting the finishing touches on the lowly Slime to finally putting down the final form of the Dragonlord but tonight I am done. I have made each and every monster in the NES game Dragon Warrior in cross stitch!

Each one is on 11-count Aida fabric. I had to buy an awful lot of it. Every few weeks I'd buy every bit they had at the local Joann's. The colors were chosen by the late Dark Lilac stitch creator so I might pick different ones today.

I have a special page set up as a portal to every individual post. Each monster has a floss list should anyone be interested in making one of their own. If you want a second opinion on the colors just ask and I'll run it through my stitch app.

It seems that different people have an idea of what I am, and what I should be. And then there's me.

I'd have to agree there. In terms up commitment it's up there with the best of them.

Im not familiar with this game but clearly you put a lot of work into these and it payed off!  They look great!  What are you gonna do with them all?

If it had grown up, it would have made a dreadfully ugly child; but it makes rather a handsome pig, I think.

Just. Wow.
Love the game and these are just so impressive. I'm amazed by your dedication. What's the plan for them now they're all finished?
