Checking in.  My deadline of Sunday got squashed due to a pattern error.  I was attaching a band, thinking something wasn't right.  I checked the pattern instruction picture, and was assured I'd done as pictured.  When the bag was done, I just wasn't happy with that area.  It didn't look bad, but something just wasn't right.  I then re-read some online reviews of the pattern, and sure enough, one person said the picture of the band attachment was WRONG!  That's what I get for being too "visual" and not READING the instructions.
So, I started again, and should be done by Wednesday night.  This time, everything is going quicker since I've done the whole thing once.  That was my plan anyway - but I thought if the first one came out stellar, I'd send it off.
Thank goodness for a loooong crafting time on this.
My older DD loved it, and asked if I'd make her one -- so I gave it to her.

This weeks check in is sooner for me, because I will be out of town. I fly out Friday the 13th and don't get back till Friday the 20th (death in the family and I must go to NJ)
I might get online while there (Addicted.. to.. Crafters...AHHHHH)

I've received.  I will take pics and post them later today.

I am almost completely finished with mine.  As I have posted elsewhere and PM'd my partner, I ran into a crisis on Mon that put me out $1000 so if my taxed don't come by Friday (which they are supposed to) then I will let everyone know.  I'd hate to send late, but that may be a must unfortunately.  Pray for the swift direct deposit from the IRS.
