Wow, I can't believe the response! I'll get back to all of you, I promise. I never thought people would want to make their own boots, but I guess this was a good spot for fashion and creativity.

For krissykat, the thickness of the vinyl I used for the boots ranges from almost paper-thin super stretchy, to the thickest, most ornery vinyl you can think of, with the boots in the picture about halfway in between. My home sewing machine sews them all, but I do have a trick - I added a crank handle to get through the very thick stuff.

And yes, my avatar is also a pair I made. I was just 'fishing' for some new ideas. I should also tell you how this all started, if you're interested.
