It's been a little over three years since I posted this, and I've sent out over three hundred tutorials. But so far I've only seen one pair of boots that someone made and I've only had two other questions about making them. Has anyone tried it? I'm sure interested to know, especially how they can be improved, and I'm still willing to help out anyone who is doing them.

High black boots made from a pair of used sandals purchased at a local thrift store and upholstery vinyl.

If you really wanted to do it, you'd find the time.

Whoa, this is super groovy! I'd try it...

I haven't forgotten! I had put my tutorial in a "safe place", and then found it and put it in a more visible spot. It's been moved again (massive cleaning and organizing project going on), but I think I know where it went. But, I still want to try it! I'm pretty sure I have the intended shoes all picked out, I just need to get some vinyl (and find some time). I love the boots you just posted! I could wear something like those (but not as high Smiley ).

Wow, these are really impressive. I can't believe the cost! I hope dearly that you will make a tutorial or share your source of information because I'd love to make a pair of boots even half as pro looking as yours.

(Or make another pair that we call all drool over on the forums!)

it would be so great to see a tutorial!!!

nice, too, because synthetic upholstery fabrics are vegan--so i could make myself some vegan boots!!!

Make it, thrift it, mend it, or make-do without it!

So I know this thread has been around for awhile and I have read through it a few times over the years and your boots are just amazing to me!! I love the styles and creativity you use, you have some serious talent!! I have a love for boots, you could say its a love hate thing..Being 6' tall, with a size 13 shoe AND having "thick" calves from years of sports and now being a couch commando, boots for me are out of the question in the stores or online. So, I buy them for my little sister lol I would LOVE to have my own 10000 pairs....I know its old and a long shot, but is it possible to get this amazing tut? I will absolutely send you the end pics!

I made a pair of cosplay boots with the help of glamboots' tutorial and suggestions. I can't upload an image so here is the link to my boots on my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/AtelierRadius/photos/a.1450487788537524.1073741828.1450210538565249/1499431176976518/?type=3&theater
