Thank you! I'm quite proud of it as well. Smiley

They're really simple to make. I just use a strong coffee to stain the paper (with a brush), let it dry, cut it to shape and use Modge-Podge to attach it.

I made a tryptich of Alice images for another swap and wanted to make more. Cheesy

First of all everything had a nice little note with it, but check out the paper... not just sticky notes, real neat-o fancy paper!

I got the notecards in a OWS swap, from Mlsocci, IIRC. I asked for small cards to use in swap packages Cheesy

Then there was a surprise! Only one of a set of arm warmers...

Oh, yeah, well... before I mailed the package, I had the day off from work because I was having a medical procedure done. When I got home that afternoon, I packed up everything so I could mail it the next day. Then dh was in the hospital for 2 1/2 days. After he came home, I was cleaning up my craft area and I found one of the arm warmers!  What the Huh  I remembered packing everything after the appointment... oh yeah, they gave me conscious sedation. I guess it hadn't worn off totally when I packed up everything. Almost everything  Undecided I checked the tracking on the 2nd armwarmer (mailed asap once I realized what happened) and it's probably arriving today. Lesson learned - do not pack a swap package before the conscious sedation wears off  Embarrassed

oh, and they're knitted. The lacy pattern at the wrist is the same lace as the Kiri Shawl just not stretched out as much.

beaded bracelet/bangle she sent... is that peyote stitch? I never could figure that one out! I love love love the color of the armwarmers by the way!!!

No, not peyote stitch. It's a crocheted bead rope. There's some how-to info here

Then all that fiber! She sent, I dunno how much fun stuff to play with on my wheel! .... And lastly but not leastly, a bad picture of the 4"X4" squares for my craftster blankie... I totally wanted random colors and she went so far as to do some random patterns WHICH I LOVE!

Glad you liked it all.  Cheesy

I received from HarleyQuinn today!

She made two blankets for my boys that are TOTALLY perfect for them both!

C, with his poor little chapped cheeks, but he's still happy!

E, proudly modeling his awesome car blanket!

And a lapghan for me!!! I'm using it right now lol. It was her very first quilt and it's just so right for me. Cheesy

E demonstrating the felt toy basket from my wists. I'd forgotten it was on there, but I really love it and it's going to get a lot of use.

More great things from my wist! A wraparound bracelet that can also be worn as a necklace, and two shawl/scarf pins; both were new things for HarleyQuinn to try and she did a wonderful job.

Here's a "mommy bracelet" with the boys' first initials. I will wear this with pride Cheesy

And then there is the best of the best of the best! I've been wanting one of these for months, and have put them on swap wishlists four times lol

Handmade journals! THREE of them!

They're really fantastic, even more so because she hasn't been doing it all that long but they look really, really good ^_^
