I changed my living room colors (again) and needed a lime green color on one of the walls to make the room flow a bit. Since I couldn't find the right color I decided to do up something on my own.

These are great!!! I love everything, the color, the image!  Did you use acrylics on canvas for these?

Yup! I actually had found some premade canvas panels at a discount store near by, ended up paying $1.99 each. I stopped at Michaels and bought a few different paint colors;  lime like greens, some yellow and a matte black. Lastly, I used a good amount of Gesso, simply because untreated cheap canvas would bubble and drive me nutty.

The green was pretty easy. I circled darkest green from edges to lightest green to the center, watered down some yellow and circled that over top the green, then just made a swirly tree on each. It was a pretty quick project. Fun though!
