I have been wanting to do this for awhile. I managed to pick up two wayward scrabble tiles somewhere. I love the results! I am going to have to buy a bunch of these now! I used 3D glaze to make it.

C & C always welcome!

I think 3D glaze is a new version of the Diamond Glaze. It creates a clear glass like dome on whatever you apply it to. It's supposed to be clearer and have less bubbles, I think.

Yup! It's called 3D Crystal Lacquer. I haven't used Diamond Glaze, but the 3D stuff is pretty clear and it does work in very thin layers on uneven surfaces without running.

The OP used 3D crystal Lacquer which is like Diamond Glaze.  What you are thinking of/referencing is JudiKins DG3 Art Gel which also has to be applied in thin layers but can be built up with brush strokes to resemble hand painting.  It can also be used in a patera after building up layers to create a semi dome, but you can do that with diamond glaze, too.
