I started on this right after election day from Julie Johnsons Subversive Cross Stitch pattern, wow it took forever! This was my third cross stitch ever and I'm so happy to get it done.

Good luck to our new president, he's got a lot of hard work in front of him!

That is freakin AWESOME!!! I actually have that pic as my wallpaper on my cellphone. I wish I knew how to cross stitch. You did a great job on this.

There will always be people who say mean words  because you are different, and sometimes their minds cannot be changed. There are many more people who do not judge others based on how they look or where they are from. THOSE are the people whose WORDS truly matter.

I started it around Thanksgiving, and worked on it for a little bit every day, so almost two months. That's one of the longest non-sewing projects I've ever taken on. Good luck on doing your friends hoodie!

Thanks!! Cross stitch is pretty basic, from what I've found so far. I did two of Subversive Cross Stitch's other patterns right before this, and they're real easy. I like a craft you can do while watching TV!

Cool! I did this same cross stitch for a friend and gave it to him a few weeks ago. You're not kidding about how long it takes. Cheesy That's probably the only thing I dread about cross-stitching. But even so, I must admit I'm hooked on the craft.  Smiley

I like this a lot. I'm glad you got it finished in time. What did you stitch this on? It looks big!

Nice work. I got the pattern some time in December-ish and picked up all the thread but neither I nor my wife ever got around to picking it up. Ooof!
