PLEASE HELP!! My husband is gonna kill me

I was cleaning my house and I removed his autogrphed balls, and I cleaned the ball holder, when i did I guess i didn't get all the windex out and IT RUINED THE SIGNATURE!!!
OMG, Its on his expensive ball i bought him for xmas, i paid 600 dollars for it,
I was wondering how I could make a stencil or something and put it on a similiar ball so he wouldn't detct it.

I not to familiar with stencilling , tracing anythng so I really have no idea how to do that, BUT PLEASE HELP ME.
I will be forever indepeted to you all.
PLEASE.

Yikes. I guess you could print the signature out (if you can get a printable version of it) and then copy it onto the ball with carbon paper. (You put a layer of carbon paper, available at an office supply store, then the printed image, then trace the printed image and it will leave carbon on the ball wherever you trace.) Then you could go over it with a pen. If he ever wanted/tried to sell it though, you'd probably get found out.

Be honest. It was a gift from you anyway, right? It might fool him for a little while, but if he ever finds out, the consequences will be much worse than if you just tell him.

Wow, that's quite the quandary ... I'd have to agree with the others - honesty seems like the best course of action. Besides - it wasn't a result of something irresponsible on your part.  You were cleaning the ball holder presumably for the first time - how could you know?? Best of luck.

Have you thought about maybe contacting the players management or fan club and getting it re-signed?
You never know you just might be able to find a way to get it signed again and that would be much better then having the cloud of having lied to him like that hanging over you.
Besides he might be mad for a little while but I'm sure he'll get over it eventually.
