I finished this a few weeks ago, and since I didn't have a camera I couldn't show anyone online how it turned out, so here it finally is:

(whoops, forgot to sew in my ends on one side before the pics, oh well... I was excited)

I decided to make mine blue since I LOVE color. I took me about two weeks to make it due to a busy scheduel, it was frogged once because I made it in a large and it fit way too loose. I didn't think the measurements for the medium size would fit me, but it does.

I added a few more rows so it would reach my lower back and subtracted the second pattern rep from the sleeves. It's perfect for me. To close it, I thought of adding buttons, but I go anxious to see it finished and settled on using old brooches to close it when I wanted.

I'm really proud of how well it turned out, when I first bought my book and saw the pattern I thought "I'll never be able to do something that complicated", but I did  Cheesy

This is a piece I've been wanting to do for a long time. You've inspired me to go back to it. Thanks! Like I don't have enough projects on hooks and needles >-O
