Yesterday would have been a great day there too - the weather was just beautiful.. we had a mixed day - some good, some bad.  It ended nice so that is all I can ask for!

I am keeping busy today.  I am working on a new line for the website - I'm super excited about them.  I am on a roll.  I know I need to go to the grocery store and really should before the kids get home but I don't want to stop!!  I am on a total roll - it's a new series of stuffies for me and I am having a hard time wanting to put them down... one set nearly done - yes, I do things in trios I know - and I have another set in the works...!

Yup- Tuesday the 10th.....

I have 3 Etsy Stores at the moment... ALL in the process of being organized and marketed.

sewlovebaby.etsy.com - intended to be my outlet for all things baby. Currently burp clothes with the intention to get into diaper bags, accessories and toddler clothing.

Isewcrazy.etsy.com - Not set up yet - intended for all things crazy fun... pouches, purses, cozies, etc.

SarahTheSeamstress.etsy.com - the original etsy store and the only one that has sold anything. My goal is to keep this as my identity with the other names as extensions or divisions of it.

I am looking forward to putting my plan into action and seeing if it works.... First up... PRODUCT... I just need to figure out how to balance baby, laziness and sewing. I have great creative juices... Just need to put them into action.

Nope not open yet... David had done the url mapping for the site so the address lines look all nice and tidy instead of long strings of gooblygook - well.  He  broke the site somehow and things are all sorts of goobered up.  He was up last night working on it so who knows... maybe he got it fixed... He's still in bed.  I'm going to let him sleep a wee bit longer - I usually get him up at 6 but I think I'll let him sleep in just a tad. I'm sure he was up late last night..

My newest creation - ladybugs.  Oh.my.god.  I think they are absolutely adorable.  Lumpity bumpity ladybugs.  I know... ladybug spots are not suppose to be bumpity  but I could not help myself.  I am the artist.  I took a litlte liberty and they are just absolutely gorgeous if you ask me.  I am going to finish editing the pattern and send it off to two different testers - one is advanced and one is more of a beginner but she is getting  A LOT of practice through me!  I keep those two especially busy!

I'll bring in a Mary Poppins Bag next Tuesday - the 10th and I am so sorry that I was a nervous weather ninny.  I just kept thinking about how people drive in this town when it is raining let alone any more serious weather... and of course the weather looks pretty much clear - thump me on the head.  I should not have been such a ninny.  It's okay.  I probably should be a good girl and get the site squared up instead.  I am hoping that I will be spending the day uploading pictures and pdf's and whatnot.  I am so nervous about my pricing!!

One of you guys is going to have to learn to crochet and fast so that I have someone local to test out my stuff!!!

Our little Alabama haven was spammed... I already reported it to the mods.  I don't care how much people spend on cosmetics.  I spend well next to zero on cosmetics and don't want some dinky company posting their urls in my beloved Alabama community page!!

CraftyDeb - I would love to learn how to crochet - but need teacher and tools... Well... I have one of those Walmart - Teach me to Crochet-Kits but my noggin is too think to figure it out. We also have a neighbor you haven't met and she crochets.... she may be willing to test out a pattern.

This Saturday is the knitting class..... if I can get there by 4pm is that enough time to start teaching me... and then I have the weekend to practice/get stumped and then bring to you Tuesday to help me? Or is that just not enough time?

That would really be cutting it close - if you cut your playdate to 3pm then you could actually get some learning in.  I am not sure how many people are coming this weekend.  I am trying to hand the reins over to someone else... she used to run the Birmingham machine knitting group and I am just too busy to really keep up with the group and keep it active and fun.  I do hope that she takes over and really whips the club in to something awesome.  Til then I'll go and work on some stuff here or there.

I'd say you really need a good two hour block to start it going.  I'm not sure if Eukarya could give you a first lesson and then bring it to me on Tuesday.  She keeps wrapping like she is knitting.  You have to learn one and not the other - not both at the same time.  Once you are good and comfortable with one then you can learn the other.... she better not  be wrapping again or else I am going to have to smack her!

Last night on TMZ they were making fun of knitting - apparently that chick you know last year at band camp and from  Buffy - she is pregnant and learning to knit.  They caught her outside of a knitting class.  They were slagging knitting.  One of the women there did defend it saying it is in style right now or something to that effect - but it is making a comeback... I hope the young knitters of the world throw the hammer at them!

I don't either - but I have friends that do... I will have to give them both a call.... I am such a bad influence!
Kiwi - is there a better day for you?  I'm open every day except for Wednesday - I have a mystery shop to do that day.

I keep looking at my ladybugs. They are sooo cute!  I just want to go squee!
Time for me to get to work.  I have a date with a group of octopi.... or should I go turtle doday?  Oh. I don't know.  I also promised Collin I would make a rhinoceros beetle as well.  What have I done?  I have created a monster.  He just thinks I can make anything and everything!
