I was having trouble remembering to take my badge to work. I dug out a magazine clipping Mom sent YEARS ago, and I had my answer. (Second is more true to color.)

My inspiration:

I need to make one of these for my boyfriend. EVERY time he leaves the house he asks where his keys are. Theres a little hook right next to the door that I swear is getting dusty. Maybe something more colorful would help? I love the fabric you used too.

You could even put a note for yourself in the pocket for something too large to put in the organizer like "swap package to go to the post office!"  Smiley

I LOVE this! I have a little hook for my keys but always manage to forget something else, since I don't carry a purse. In the winter it's not so bad since I just leave everything in my coat pockets but this would be amazingly useful in the summer! Bookmarked Smiley

Hmmm, this is very clever, but I'm trying to think of a way to adapt it so my 2 year old wouldn't be all up in it all the time.   Maybe just a nail on the wall by the door?  Or a wreath hanger on the door?

My front door is metal, as are most. Perhaps you could hang it around a strong magnet?

You are a lifesaver!  My husband drives me nuts with his "wallet, keys, phone" regime every time we leave the house.

That is a wonderful idea - I need one of those for sure. I am forever missing my train cause I'm looking for my badge and bus pass. Very weird looking at the picture; the items could have been mine: same phone in the same color, same badge clip pully thingie, same badge color, with the same 1st letter for the company worked in the same logo colors.

I remember seeing these at the Container Store, and simultaneously wanting one badly/deciding that the price was far too high.  I love what you've done with the idea, and I like how the bottom pocket on yours is bigger...that seems like it would make it more useful  Smiley
