And speaking of crocheted micro mini tiny teeny houses, I receive a gnome yurt from christinacoghill today - it's adorable!

Here's a pic of it next to a scruddy dog toy, for scale:

And here's one with my cute doggy, she is having such a hard time sitting still!

Isn't it cute? The structure of the house is out of soft fuzzy yarn (angora? cashmere? I can't remember which she said). And the felt roof lifts off and leaves a little dome with a window.

OK...drum roll please....
and just to give even more credit where it's due, my partner, bsonlytoots, took these pictures. She has the macro thing goin' on!.
So, when we first started getting to know each other I told her about one of my favorite architects, Joseph Eichler, and what did she do but actually research the guy and design my house based on one of his designs. Can you believe this chick?
So, anyway, here are a bunch of pictures...but hey! ya got somewhere you gotta be?

approaching the front door:

Welcome!

there's an atrium just inside the entrance...you'll see.

around back:

can you see my dining room table?

the bedroom and bathroom windows:

Off with the roof!

no detail left unattended

the aforementioned atrium:

cozy master bedroom:

I already put my undies in the top drawer of the dresser

the formal dining room:

the china arrive in perfect condition

the kitchen has all the modern conveniences:

the guest room:

and the bath:

and here's a scale shot...and yes, folks, that's a 12 oz beer:

Well, g'night everybody...come back and visit real soon

Sweet dreams, bsonlytoots. And Thank You!  Kiss

The tiny gnome yurt is just so cute and adorable!  And you can tell the pup is displaying tremendous self-control! Smiley

bsonlytoots, that house is over-the-top.  What in the world is that roof made of?  And what SCALE is that??? Freakin' awesome.

Oh. My. Gawd.  That house is amazing.  I love the trompe l'oeil (I have no idea how to spell that am too tired even for google) furniture!  Love, love, love it!

You know what else I love?  Miss T's f'ing amazing feat of incredible design and engineering prowess!!!  Prepare to be bedazzled...

Coming out of its box, trussed up like a toy chicken on Christmas:

All laid out and ready to get 3D, already!

Who gets down behind closed doors?  These guys!

What holds this ingenious creation together, you must be wondering...

Why, wee magnets, of course!

The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire (why yes, I have had that song in my head since I received this package--thank you for asking!)

My favorite window

Super Awesome Tiny House Tag (says "Tiny House Swap 1 by Mistress T 2/2009")

Obligatory "beast for scale" shot

Beast becoming increasingly uneasy and unclear on what is expected of her (I was encouraging her to sniff it, she was refusing and getting scared of it)

So, in short, it basically rules.  I am so blown away by the mad skillz of MissT.  Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Ack, I didn't mean to make the pictures SO teeny...craftster didn't want to upload them at first so I had to knock them down a size but I may have overreacted...if you want to see any big let me know and I'll repost.
