Little windowwwww

Close up of lace curtain

Close up of roofing

Haa, I squealed like a schoolgirl when I opened the package, I'm so gonna make me a village!

Such a perfect reaction to the windowwww!  Or, still more appropriate, windawwww....  that curtain!  That squishy house!  The felt shingles!  Way too cute.

Here are the pictures of my sweeeet house I received from Jenicat! Smiley Smiley Smiley
Just for fun, I put it on a piece of paper that looks like grass for the photoshoot. Grin
Color is a little bit washed out - I get a nice sunny day for picture-taking and it's almost too bright! Roll Eyes

The roof is sooo shiny because it's like pure glitter!  It really reminds me of the old-fashioned asphalt shingles that you see on older farmhouses - some of them have these amazing colors in them, green, blue, purple...and I LOVE those kinds of shingles!  I just love the stripey trimwork and the detailing!  Each of the little window frames is cut out, not painted.  But the paint finish on the siding has a really cool crackle detail that makes it look all vintage-like.

Oh my gosh, look!  There's someone inside!  I don't know who it is yet, but I just love this detail.  AND I love the butterfly over the door!  I want to put a big butterfly over my real door now!

And here is a better shot of the roof:

Thank you for the sweet sweet house, Jenicat!  A lot of detail went in this project and it will hold pride of place in my growing village!
