The butterfly over the door reminds me of a house we drive by in the summer on our way to the river that has this monster size realistic looking dragonfly on their roof, its kind of ridiculous and cool all at the same time.

Another adorable house!  I love the crackle finish on it.... looks nice-n-loved.

Thanks!  I actually made it crackle on purpose.    For once, a mistake-look that wasn't a mistake!  I mixed the paint with water and glue. 

And it was papier mache (sort of), so it crackled nicely.  Kind of like an old farmhouse.

I received my house from MistressT!  Holy cow.  It is f-ing amazing.  The engineering of the flat pack is going to blow your minds!  I will post pics very very soon.  Thank you thank you, T!!!  It is just incredible.

Wow!  I'm away over night and the gallery starts getting busy again... with adorable little houses!  So nice to see a couple of new media, too.  I'd be tempted to snuggle up on the couch with the crocheted one, it looks so cozy.  And the paper one with the crack and sparkly roof - would probably get a little battered with  me fiddling with all those awesome glittery shingles.  Nice works!

I feel such tremendous anxiety, even though annacharlotte has my house now and claims to like it... ARG!
