WHAT KIND OF GLUE DID YOU USE??

Do you need any special kind? WIll rubber cement work? DO you have to back them on cardstock so the printing on the back doesn't show through? details details!

thanks!

I used glue for metal and glass crafts. I think it is called UHU. But I've read that e6000 works great too. I don't think rubber cement is strong enough. I didn't put any cardstock on the back of the pics. It was fine though, nothing showed thru.

I just made a bunch last night from Archie McPhee and Pottery Barn magazines.  I used superglue (Loctite Quicktite super glue to be exact) and they seem to be holding up great!

Hi!

I'm new here, I have been lurking for quite a while, but I wanted to wait until I get a digital camera and actually be able to post some pictures before I de-lurk myself..
and guess what? I did!  Grin

I wanted to share some of my marble magnets, which I can't get enough of.. this is a brilliant idea, and for the last month I've been giving them as birthday, housewarming, "get-well-soon" and "sorry-I-forgot-to-feed-your-cat" gifts..

Anyhow, here are some of my magnets - I used old catalogues I had lying around here, and plain ol' hot glue, which works just great!

Thanks cherriesrockmysox!
The LoTR logo came from the catalogue of a company whose name I can't remember right now  Huh
They make keyring sized versions of classic games and toys  (like monopoly, Barbie, etc.)
Each of the toys comes with a teeny tiny catalogue that's packed with drawings and logos - perfect for marble magnets!
