The first time I saw tutorials like this done on HGTV and DIY I bought my pasta machine and it really is this easy!!! 

Wonderful!  I love how easy the pattern is to create, but how complicated it looks!  Thanks for sharing how to make the hinge - I am so tempted to make a box like this now.

This is really cool!  I love the colors you used and I'd imagine with so many layers of clay, that it's actually quite sturdy.  Very very pretty.  Smiley  Thanks for the tutorial!

Neato!  I made a hinged locket a few years ago for a class.  It was all polymer, though.  Maybe someday I will write a tute and there can be two! Cheesy

Wow I am so glad you all like my hinge as much as I do.   Grin

Jenicat--it is very sturdy, I even dropped it a few times and all is still intact (only one way to find out how secure it is)   and you are very welcome!!

Yay something-wierd, that would be awesome!!  Grin  My hinge is quite bulky for a locket, trying to iron one out in my mind.  I would love to see what you come up with!!  I would love to make a cameo locket with a hinge.
