I rescued this Beatles t-shirt from my craft stash to make a purse. I found this bandanna print that read love, love, love...and thought is would go perfectly.

What a great purse. I am not really into the Beatles or anything but this purse is made so well!

did you use a tutorial or pattern for the purse?  I would like to make a tote that has a zipper topping like you did but I don't want to have to deal with a gussett and it doesn't look as though you used a gusset.... Any help is appreciated.

This is really cute!  I bought an 18 month shirt to recycle, and this is a great idea.  Excellent job!.

The bag has a square bottom. Though I didn't sit down and follow it this time, I've pretty much committed "The Jordy" Purse pattern posted on craftster to memory.

The tutorial is very easy to use and easily adapted.
