It has been almost exactly a year since I first learned to knit. I have enjoyed watching my skills improve over the year and wanted to share some of my latest projects, many of which have already been gifted. I do keep the occasional item for myself. Smiley These are from the past few months, sorry for the many pics.

I just finished this simple diagonal scarf today:

Here's a scarf I made for myself with some yarn that my husband picked out for me for my birthday:

I made these for my friend for her birthday last weekend. She loves them!

Here's a Thorpe hat I made for a friend's birthday in December:

Here's my attempt at the Bella Mittens. I think they turned out great, but they were WAY too small for me so I gifted them to another friend:

These mitts are my pride and joy and I kept them for myself. The pattern is called Nalu mitts. It was my first attempt at something using a cable needle and I am so so so happy with how they turned out. I wear them pretty much all the time:

I have about 30+ project ideas churning in my head right now. So much knitting to do and not enough time!

I'm over on Ravelry as missmuppy if anyone wants to be my friend.

Everything looks beautiful! .. I'm a fairly new knitter ... 3 weeks now .. how difficult were the bella mittens? You did a FABULOUS job on them. That second scarf is absolutely beautiful, I love the colorway and striping pattern.

I'm Absynthe over on Ravelry .. I'm going to go friend you now!

Thank you! The Bella Mittens were not too difficult, but definitely not easy. Smiley I just wish they would have fit me!

I friended you back!

They're all very beautiful, I wish I had more time and passion to make lots of things like you do! I especially adore the second scarf =)
