So,  I was down at my sewing machine under the pretense of working on a swap.  I was actually making my husband a bag for his drum sticks.  The plan was to hang it on his drums and leave it there, but he walked in and wondered how it was going. I'm a terrible liar, so I told him what I was doing.  He loves the finished product!  and here it is for you to see:

I used an old pair of his cords to make it.  or, well a small section of them anyway.  I used the sewing machine and "free handed" the little drum set, just for fun.

No wonder he loves this. What a cute idea. You really did a great free hand drum set!

Very cool!  The embroidery is great.  I too have a hard time hiding projects from the hubby, I get too excited and just have to tell him.  Plus, I'm a bad liar (and he knows it).

Ha!  I saw the title to this and thought "yummm..."  Wrong kind of drumstick.  This is such a great idea!  I used to date a guy who was a drummer and he could never find his drumsticks.  It looks great!

Currently taking a hiatus from swapping.  Sad

I've always wondered what disease cured ham had.

Sewsew-a-Gogo:  LOL  I figured that might cause confusion, thinking of the ice cream and not the instrument!  Thank you for the compliment!

Sunshyn_stef:  Thanks!  Its hard to keep a secret isn't it?
