So,  I was down at my sewing machine under the pretense of working on a swap.  I was actually making my husband a bag for his drum sticks.  The plan was to hang it on his drums and leave it there, but he walked in and wondered how it was going. I'm a terrible liar, so I told him what I was doing.  He loves the finished product!  and here it is for you to see:







I used an old pair of his cords to make it.  or, well a small section of them anyway.  I used the sewing machine and "free handed" the little drum set, just for fun.

hehe  Thanks!!  its to bad the one side of the cymbal got eaten by the seam, but it was to late, I wasn't about to redo it LOL!!!

Very cool!  The embroidery is great.  I too have a hard time hiding projects from the hubby, I get too excited and just have to tell him.  Plus, I'm a bad liar (and he knows it).

Ha!  I saw the title to this and thought "yummm..."  Wrong kind of drumstick.  This is such a great idea!  I used to date a guy who was a drummer and he could never find his drumsticks.  It looks great!
