I saw these placemats and napkin at Fabricland and it was 50% off.  Total cost was $20.  The placemat backing was stiff enough to act as interfacing so that worked out well.

I used the "Jordy bag" pattern.  But I forgot the snap.  I get a little zoned sometimes.  :p  So I pleated the ends a bit to give more structure.

This is fantastic!  I work at Homegoods in NH and I get a ton of placemats when they are on sale so that I can make little totes like this...yours is gorgeous though!  Great work!

How cool that you can see a placemat and think bag. It would probably go right over my head.  Smiley

Your bag is fabulous! I love anything dots or circles and I love the pleats you put on the bag.
